As you can see, some brands are synonymous with the states they come from. For example, GM continues to be the largest in Michigan, even through its stimulus-influenced troubles.
Isn’t it ironic that in a state like California that’s full of Democrats, an oil and gas company makes the most money and employs more of its residents than almost any other company?
