This week, union members tried to pump up their numbers by extorting fast food restaurants in conjunction with Obama’s minimum wage proclamation/distraction.
There’s evidence that unions had to go as far as to pay people to protest, since so few employees were actually willing to protest against a job millions of unemployed Americans would be happy to have.
But, for those unhappy few who thought being employed was such a terrible burden, don’t worry! McDonald’s is working on relieving your hard work by replacing you with electronic touchscreens and letting you find fulfillment that so many have found in Obama’s unemployment lines:
…job prospects in Europe for those so inclined to work in the fast food industry are looking pretty grim right about now. That’s because the fast food giant is poised to add touchscreen kiosks in more than 7,000 of its restaurants in Europe in effort to replace actual, human cashiers.
