Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart didn’t pull any punches in a ten-minute tirade against the ridiculous ObamaCare website, delivering blow after blow without any apologies or excuses.
Stewart didn’t just smash the ObamaCare website for its numerous “glitches,” although there was plenty of that, but he laid the smack down for the website’s phony information, software malfunctions, and even getting the calculator wrong. The calculator? Really, guys?
The wry comedian even took the Shamwow president to task for overselling his (dubious) product for an hour during his ‘Dizzy with Success‘ speech, even while a pregnant lady with diabetes teetered in the sunlight. On a scale of 1-10, this is a full 10 for as thorough a beating the Obama administration is ever going to get on a mainstream network. But it’s a bit incomplete.
The ObamaCare website is a classic illustration of the ‘fatal conceit‘ of central planners everywhere; and if anything, the program will not get better, but worse. Progressives will never grasp this without learning firsthand why their theories don’t work, however. Until then, enjoy them being baffled why the particulars of reality don’t fit their boilerplate worldview.
