Just last week Chuck Todd was excoriated by the Left for daring to say that it was the president’s job to sell Obamacare, not the media’s job. This enraged liberals so much, there’s a petition to have him apologize for his comments.
It appears that NBC has learned its lesson!
Yesterday NBC announced it would be running a week of programming to help Obamacare get off its feet. So whether you like the bill or not (and let’s be honest, most Americans are not), NBC is going to hold the President’s hand and tell you all the great things about the new health care law.
From the headline of the NBC press release:
NBC News Launches “Ready or Not, the New Healthcare Law,” a Multi-Screen Experience to Help Americans Get the Most Out of the Affordable Care Act
Dr. Nancy Snyderman Answers Most Pressing Questions Across Social and Via New Video Series #AskDrNancy
Interactive Tools and Resources Help Audience Navigate New Healthcare Benefits and Marketplaces
So that’s all it took for NBC to submissively accept the demands of a bunch of basement-dwelling petition-mongers?
It’s good to know that NBC is willing to be a cheerleader for Obama’s agenda so openly and brazenly – how are they gonna deny it now? At least Americans will have plenty of time to watch the propagandizing since Obamacare implementation is forcing companies to cut employment hours – if you’re lucky enough to actually have a job in Obama’s terrible economy.
