The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently launched a video contest “to encourage young people to get health insurance and take advantage of the new options available to them under the health care law.” The Healthy Young America video contest offers over $30,000 in cash prizes and over 100 individual prizes (furnished by the taxpayers, of course).
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has submitted its own video to the contest aimed at college students. The video is titled “Back to School at Obamacare University” and lampoons the sacrifices in healthcare access and finances the unpopular bill will require of the young and healthy. The contest closes September 23.
Think the NRCC has a shot at some of those taxpayer dollars?
