The “best” part about Nancy Pelosi is that she says the hysterical things she says with a straight face. This week’s gem is classic. The IRS scandal should be tied to George Bush and John Boehner – not Barack Obama.
When asked if Barack Obama should be held responsible because the scandal occurred on his watch, an obviously prepared Pelosi jumped in a flash to blame Bush:
“Well – you said it happened on his watch – it happened under the appointment of the head of the IRS – who was appointed by President Bush. His length of stay extended into President Obama’s stay. But I think that that points to the fact that, you know – why is this is a politicized issue?”
Does anyone on the planet not believe that Pelosi, Reid & Co. would be all over George Bush in a New York minute if this – or any of O’s scandals – occurred under his watch?
When asked if Barack Obama should be held responsible because the scandal occurred on his watch, Pelosi threw in this hilarious example of liberal “logic” just for good measure:
“Well the President doesn’t know about everything that is going on in every agency of government. Should Mr. Boehner have known that this is his neighboring district and in Cincinnati where the IRS office is?
San Francisco’s finest. The gift that keeps on giving.
