Vice-President Biden: 'Legitimate News Media' Will Help in Push for Gun Control

The vice-president Joe Biden appeared at a press conference in Philadelphia and basically stated that ‘legitimate news media‘ are those that will push the gun control narrative. It’s very strange that a member of the executive branch is weighing on who is and isn’t a member of the ‘legitimate’ media.
As reported by The Examiner:
“To be very blunt with you, we’re counting on all of you, the legitimate news media to cover these discussions because the truth is that times have changed,” Biden added, warning that people would continue to “misrepresent” the White House’s plans for gun control.
Then the vice-president gave his view on social media’s misinformation about gun control:
“The social media that exists out there, the tragedies that have occurred, the Supreme Court decision affirming that its an individual right to bear arms – all give a lie to the argument that what we’re trying to do is somehow unconstitutional, or somehow goes after the legitimate right to own and bear arms and to hunt and protect yourselves,” Biden added.
Everyone should keep a close eye on this shifty Biden guy. He may seem funny, but his policies — not so much.
Social media are carrying the water for the activist media, which have all-but-abandoned every shred of integrity when it comes to holding both parties accountable. And on the issue of gun control, there is no rational case for enacting the life-threatening policies.
If you want to talk about ‘legitimate media,’ Joe, why don’t you ask yourself what the role of the media in a free country is? A legitimate media would do more than shill for a government seeking to infringe as much as possible on the right of people to defend themselves with effective firearms from criminals and from tyrannical government.
