President Vice President Joe Biden had some alarming words for the Iowa State Society inauguration ball. As reported by Newsbusters, the vice president said:

“I’m proud to be President of the United States.”

After some laughter and a nudge from someone on stage, Biden corrected himself.

“I’m proud to be Vice President of the United States,” he said, “and I’m prouder to be Barack Obama, President Barack Obama’s Vice President.”

SHARE this laugh with the Iowan crowd — it won’t be the last the American people get from their newly re-elected vice president over the next four years.
