obamaDemocrats and their hypocrisy never seize to amaze me. They basically shot billboard size flares at Republicans because Mitt Romney said his staff brought him binders full of résumé’s from women in order to have an equality-based cabinet. Now I’m not saying Romney’s choice of words was like something out of a Robert Frost poem, but he was showing effort to include women, and that should be admired.

Let’s also not forget how strongly some Democrats also feel about abortion. Many on the right side of the political spectrum are pro-life. Others oppose government funding for abortions. But Democrats love to point out when a candidate voices an opinion or votes for legislation (regardless of whatever else is loaded in the bill) that limits abortion or its federal funding. Curiously, that’s all fine and dandy when it comes to former Republican Nebraska Senator and newly nominated Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

According [to] past campaign literature, he also opposed abortion in cases of rape and incest because those cases are “rare.”

When he announced his candidacy for Senate, Hagel said that he opposed abortion except to protect the life of the mother and in cases of rape and incest. Hagel decided he didn’t believe that exclusions for rape were necessary after studying the issue near the end of his campaign…

Then Senate-candidate Hagel said that he “tightened” his position on abortion after he said he discovered that abortion in the case of rape and incest are “rare” according to multiple local press reports.

“As I looked at those numbers, if I want to prevent abortions, I don’t think those two exceptions are relevant,” Hagel said, according to the Omaha paper.

Soooo, correct me if I’m wrong here, but wasn’t a Republican running for a certain Missouri Senate seat…cough, Todd Akin, cough…absolutely roasted by the media and liberals for …having this exact same view?

Let’s be perfectly clear here; after all the moaning and groaning about how bad Republicans and their ideals are, President Obama has just nominated a guy who criticized a US Ambassador in 1998 for being “openly, aggressively gay,” has voiced support for reinstating the draft, and opposed abortion in the case of incest or rape because those instances were not “relevant.” Oh yeah, and he’s an old white guy that doesn’t really scream ‘Diversity!’

Is Obama getting treated fairly by the media? The obvious love affair for Obama must end for the betterment of this country. Please SHARE this article to show your friends this blaring hypocrisy.
