Samuel L. Jackson: "Unfair" That Isaac Spares RNC
admin | On 28, Aug 2012
In a ‘tell me what you really think’-moment, Samuel L. Jackson decided to blast a tweet, saying what he thinks about hurricane Isaac’s change of course. Apparently, he was quite upset that Isaac left the Republican National Convention alone, while making for the coast of Louisiana, calling it ‘unfair’. The Hill reports:
Jackson said in a profanity-filled tweet that he was “not understanding God’s plan” given the fact that the storm was not disrupting the Republican gathering.
“Unfair s—,” the Oscar-nominated actor known for his colorful language said on Twitter.
“GOP spared by Isaac! NOLA prolly f—– again!”
So, it seems that Mr. Jackson would like a hurricane to wreak havoc on millions of lives in Tampa, FL, so that his political aspirations can come to fruition. It is unclear if the safety and well-being of Tampa residents crossed his mind, as he tweeted his frustrations that the hurricane steered clear of the city.
Of course, Samuel L. Jackson tweeted an apology:
Less than a half-hour later, Jackson apologized for the earlier tweet, writing that it had stirred up a hornet’s nest. “Apologies to God, Tampa, da GOP& Isaac(sp)! Who played the Race card?!,” he said on Twitter.”
While the apology seems heartfelt and full of remorse (sarcasm, please), the damage has been done. We now know what Sam is thinking …which is never a good thing for most Hollywood celebrities.
