Bad Week For AG: Republican Senators Pressuring Holder to Properly Investigate White House Leaks

According to a brand new Fox News report, more than 30 GOP senators have signed a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in efforts to pressure him into appointing special counsel to investigate whether or not the White House is responsible for the recent national security leaks.
The numerous national security leaks reportedly originating out of the executive branch in recent months have been stunning,” according to a copy of the letter to Holder, signed by more than 30 GOP senators and obtained by Fox News. “If there were ever a case requiring an outside special counsel with bipartisan acceptance and widespread public trust, this is it.”
Recent New York Times articles provided details about drone attacks and a list of human targets citing “three dozen of [President Obama’s] current and former advisers.”
[BTW - What a bad week for Holder; the House is expected to vote on Thursday on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress for not complying with investigation efforts and refusing to supply Congressional investigators with subpoenaed documents.]
Holder weakly appointed two U.S. attorneys to investigate the leaks, but appointing two internal attorneys may not be the best way to get to the bottom of the issue.
Republicans have once again gone on the offensive and have remained fairly successful at making Holder, an Obama appointee, look like a complete fool.
