Democratic Congressman Endorses Blatantly Racist Councilman As Replacement

New York City Councilman Charles Barron will more than likely be the next Congressman from NY-10 as he received the endorsement of the retiring Edolphus Towns. Barron is the establishment favorite and loves to talk about his race.
Need an example? Barron stated this:
“I want to go up to the closest white person and say, ‘You can’t understand this, it’s a black thing’ and then slap him, just for my mental health.”
Barron, in his commencement speech at Medgar Evers College, a predominantly black college, stated:
“I don’t want you to be a lawyer who happens to be black. Be a black lawyer. I don’t want you to be an elected official who happens to be black. Be a black elected official. We got a black President. We got a black governor. Say black, black, black, black, black. They don’t even want us to say we’re black anymore.”
If Barron is nominated then it will put the New York democrats in a very awkward spot as they won’t be able to control what Barron says, such as praising Moammar Gadhafi as: “My hero, an African freedom fighter”. The Democratic Party will have to shield itself from Barron’s outrageous comments or they will suffer by association. How Barron is handled and how he reacts could provide remarkable soundbites.
Barron’s potential nomination could provide amazing quotes for an entire election season. You never know what Barron will say tomorrow. Everybody should send retiring representative Edolphus Towns a thank you note because by endorsing Charles Barron he indirectly endorsed the GOP majority.
The primary is June 26th, keep your fingers crossed.
